Mike has been a Town Crier for over twenty years, firstly representing The Shire of Macedon Ranges in Victoria, Australia, before spending time overseas. On returning to Australia and moving to South Australia, Mike was appointed as the official Town Crier toThe City of Victor Harbor on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula.

He is passionate about Victor Harbor and is often seen around town on market days, at special festvals, Christmas parades and Australia Day celebrations.

After thirty years in the travel and tourism industry, Mike spent a number of years in event management before retiring. (whatever that means.)

Speaking to community groups of experiences is an enjoyable part of the role, and Mike is always happy to be guest speaker at events. Mike is also the principal of TOWN CRIER PROMOTIONS, which is dedicated to help business get reinvigorated.
